About us
St Brigid's is a beautiful, small service located within a strong school community. We provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 79 children, supporting the needs of children, families and staff by providing a safe environment that is designed to cater for the different ages of children, their skills, abilities and interests.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OSHC Coordinator to lead our service, St Brigid's Outside School Hours Care based at Nerang.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks.
* Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.
* Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
* Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
* Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Job Requirements:
* Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
* A strong understanding of Childcare legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place
* Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
* Proven leadership and team development skills
