About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker specialising in Gardening & Home Maintenance to deliver gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS clients, facilitating their ability to remain in their homes for an extended period.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service skills;
* Support and guide volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
* Become a valued team player;
* Demonstrate strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and verbal);
* Utilize basic computer and paperwork skills;
* Achieve a safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
* Meet the physical demands of a gardening role;
* Collaborate across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities).
Qualifications
A Certificate in Horticulture or similar is highly regarded, but not essential.
Requirements
* NDS Worker Screening Check;
* Current Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions;
* Your own vehicle;
* Rights to work in Australia;
* Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply).
