What does the job look like?
Reporting to Head of security, the is responsible for ordering, building, supplying, and installing locks and lock componentry. Key areas include:
1. Build locks, cut keys and repair vehicles onsite as required
2. Conducting preventative maintenance
3. Assisting security section where required through the maintenance and interrogation of systems
4. Report technical solutions and make recommendations for change to improve effectiveness and efficiency to management
5. Identifies issues requiring technical solutions collaborates with other technicians and forwards solutions back to management
Are you the one?
The role is responsible to maximise the number of locks available for operational service across Linfox Armaguard Group and to protect the IP and security of the Armaguard Group Fleet, assets and premises. You can demonstrate:
6. Previous experience as a locksmith, ideally with safes or other high security equipment
7. Experience in parts identification and in dealing with suppliers
8. Victorian Private Security Individual Registration
9. Automotive and access control experience preferred
10. Appropriate Drivers Licence, Security Licence and Security Installer Registration
11. Experience with ASSA ABLOY Protec or Protec2 systems advantageous
12. Knowledge of Pro master database system advantageous
