Position Details Kearnan College is a co-educational school catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The College was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1925 and has a rich history of providing quality education in the Manjimup area for 100 years. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic Administrative Officers for the following ongoing position from 7 April 2025.
This is a full-time, ongoing position offering 10 weeks leave during the school holidays.
The Successful Applicant Will Be prepared to work closely with the Principal, Head of Secondary and VET Coordinator in achieving school objectives. Support Leadership and teachers with administrative tasks. Maintain compliance with SCSA when reporting for enrolments, achievements, withdrawals etc. Perform additional administration duties as requested. Successfully manage competing priorities in a busy working environment. Deliver excellent customer service in person, via email or via phone. Central Manjimup location. Selection Criteria Essential Catholic background or the ability to demonstrate empathy with the Catholic ethos of the College. Administration experience. Professional written and verbal communication skills. High-level organisational, administrative and customer service skills. Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office 365 products. Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information. Excellent data entry skills with an emphasis on speed and accuracy. Skills in marketing and media. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Ability to show initiative and take direction within a team context. Desirable Knowledge of school administration systems such as SEQTA or AoS. Demonstrated experience in an educational context. Digital and print marketing experience e.g. Facebook, Canva, Newspapers, basic graphic design. Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
