In the role of Supply Program Manager, you will lead initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and manage our worldwide supply network. You will oversee global sourcing decisions, shorten lead times, achieve cost reductions, and mitigate risks. You will maintain supply continuity, assess business risks, and improve agility in adapting to global economic or political shifts. About you. You have built a strong skill set and aim to leverage your expertise in best practice supply chain management to concentrate on strategic initiatives and execute critical projects. Key Responsibilities: Indirectly manage a complex supplier base across local, global, and intercompany networks. Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, comparing local vs. global supply capabilities, and optimizing the supply chain. Assess geopolitical risks and develop dual source streams to enhance supply chain agility. Develop strategies to minimize supply chain risk and ensure continuity of supply. Lead key supply chain optimization projects. Support product strategy programs and supplier development programs to optimize safety, compliance, quality, delivery, and cost. Lead and support Supply Chain Excellence initiatives. Qualifications/Requirements: Business degree or diploma, and qualifications in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management are highly regarded. Minimum of five years' experience in supply chain management or a senior operational role in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering industries. Broad understanding of purchasing, materials management, and manufacturing excellence. Proven experience in strategy development with a focus on compliance to safety, quality, and procurement policies. Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on indirect management through influence. Solid understanding of contract and commercial law related to purchasing management. Experienced user of MRP within an engineering-based manufacturing business.
