Position Summary: The Bonded Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a bonded warehouse facility, including the storage, handling, and distribution of goods under customs control. This role ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures related to bonded goods. The Bonded Warehouse Manager leads the warehouse team to achieve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in warehousing operations. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Management:Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking.Ensure all goods are stored in accordance with customs and safety regulations.Manage the entry and exit of goods in the warehouse, keeping accurate records for customs purposes.2. Health, Safety, and Security: Ensure the warehouse adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.Maintain security standards for bonded goods and oversee any necessary access control measures4. Continuous Improvement and Reporting Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse operations.Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, KPIs, bonded stock levels, and customs compliance issues for senior management.Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) and other technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency, particularly for tracking bonded goods. Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field (preferred).3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a bonded or customs-controlled environment.Strong knowledge of customs regulations and bonded warehouse requirements.Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and inventory tracking systems.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines.
