The successful candidate will be integrally involved in building the NSW speech pathology team and referral base, and will be supported remotely by SAL Consulting Speech Pathologists in other States and Territories. On the ground support will also be provided by the wider trans-disciplinary team of practitioners across the SAL Consulting team.The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other people’s lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred services, working with a range of clients across a range of care needs from short-term involvement to complex, long-term needs. This will involve, but is not limited to:assessing, diagnosing and managing clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development;working with low and high tech ACC.Our office is based in Pennant Hills. The position will require regular travel around the Sydney metro area and occasional regional travel. Opportunities for interstate / remote area projects are available to our team of practitioners at times.
