Your functionAn exciting new permanent opportunity within the ANZ DLL team has become available for a Corporate Credit Analyst reporting to the Credit Manager – Corporate and Commercial Finance.As a Corporate Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing the risk level of customer/vendor credit applications and contributing to their approval, in order to support the business in achieving their expected risk loss targets.Day to dayUndertake financial analysis and modelling for new and existing clients across key sectors such as Agriculture, Construction, Transport, Industrial, Healthcare, Energy Transition, Office equipment, and Tech Finance.Liaise with all back office functionalities, sales/account management, credit/risk management, legal and asset management, together with relevant third parties.Collect customer/vendor information utilizing applicable systems and procedures and assess completeness and topicality of information.Analyse risk (financial, asset, market, security, legal, and contractual), review and re-rate customers/end users, local vendors or local dealers.Write credit application reports, decide on end-user credit applications and local vendor/dealer agreements within given authority level, make sound recommendations, and present applications to higher Credit decisioning authorities including local and global Credit Committees.Advise, prepare, and participate in local Credit Committee on decision making regarding end-user credit applications and local vendor/dealer agreements within given authorization level.Monitor, coordinate and advise on credit/risk profiles, corporate/external policies, regulations and sales mandates in co-operation with departments involved.Contribute to the development of local credit and risk management policies, regulations and guidelines.Provide information, support, training and align front - and back-office parties on credit and risk management policies, processes and issues.All members enjoyTwo working days per year volunteering for a local charity.Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.Flexible hours with possibility to work from homeCareer development opportunities: online learning, member development programs.Your ProfileDegree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.Must have 3 years of relevant experience in asset/equipment finance with a DLA held of at least AUD500K.Advanced financial analysis skills.Understanding of Vendor-based and Dealer-based asset finance partnerships, including both strategic commercial objectives and risk management principles.Understanding of documentation, security, and legal processes, including expert level of PPSR understanding and application.Key skills:The key to success in this role is your ability to analyse the risks and rewards in Vendor, Dealer, and Customer relationships, and effectively communicate those risks and rewards in a well-written, professional Credit Application.Strong ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to organise and prioritise work to assist the Credit team in meeting its objectives.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Flexibility – Ability to remain focused despite changing priorities.Ability to handle high work volumes and respond to requests on a timely basis.Consultative approach to working with all stakeholders – team player.Ability to negotiate and solve problems to respond to internal and external customer requests promptly and correctly.Strong ability to share business and risk knowledge with other DLL members, in order to build a culture of risk management balanced with commercial objectives.Creative problem solver with an adaptive approach.A lifelong learner, able to self-motivate and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.Ready to work for a company that is Partnering for a Better World!Good to knowThe selection process may involve an assessment.Applications via email will not be reviewed.
