The Assistant Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of logistics solutions, designing and implementing end-to-end logistics solutions for customers. He/She is also responsible for managing and influencing both internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the manpower utilization under his/her supervision.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Operational Logistics Strategies
o Execute logistics strategies on daily operations matters.
2. Drive Logistics Operations
o Manage daily operational logistics workflow and procedures.
o Develop solutions to address gaps and weaknesses in logistics operations.
o Collaborate with third-party transporters to streamline the delivery process.
o Monitor product inventory levels to ensure sufficient stocks for customers.
3. Customer Services Operations
o Supervise the Planners in the planning and delivery of logistics needs to meet customers’ needs.
o Monitor lapses in logistics delivery services.
o Forecast and manage customer needs.
o Resolve any customer issues and inquiries.
4. Post Delivery Operations
o Supervise the Planners in the post-delivery operations to ensure all necessary documentation is met.
o Review the policies, standards, and procedures.
5. Project Management
o New business and improvement projects.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations.
* A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
* Experience and proficiency in requirements management, business analysis, and solution definition.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, multitask, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
