About the role :
The Industry Engagement Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with a network of industry stakeholders committed to improving outcomes for government secondary school students transitioning from school to work. The position involves partnering with key stakeholders within a defined industry portfolio to strategically identify, plan, and lead the development of system-wide projects and initiatives that enhance industry and employer immersion and career education activities for government secondary school students. The role is aligned to priority and emerging industry sectors across the state and will require travel.
Qualifications :
Essential : Nil.
Desirable : Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
Special conditions :
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will be required to be updated every three years.
Remuneration :
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
