The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate closely with cross functional team members in executing your role.Based in Huntingdale at our amazing HQ, this position will be responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic sourcing plan with a focus on the end to end "total cost" of doing business as we continue our growth.What You'll Do:Shape sustainable and competitive sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations across the business through understanding of key cost drivers, risk and mitigation plans, industry trends and best practices, ensuring long-term pricing mechanisms and third-party relationship management.Identify and implement margin and order value opportunities, supply chain improvements and supplier development initiatives, with the ultimate goal of providing overall operational efficiency.Commercial contract management lead on strategic contracts and co-ordinate performance assessment cross-functionally.Provide best practice processes across the business including ensuring efficiency for purchasing of goods, materials, and services.Track and report benefit and saving outcomes based on implemented sourcing strategies.Assist with New Product Development to evaluate new SKU's and ensure that competitive quotes are achieved.Work with the CFO to prepare negotiating strategies and lead negotiations on all procurement issues.What are we looking for?You will have minimum 5 years' experience in a senior Procurement role within an FMCG environment.Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator and facilitator to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment from partners.Solid experience in procurement, buying, contract management, competitive price analysis, and/or supplier management, in a fast-paced FMCG environment working with Co-Manufacturers.Analytics and data-led pricing strategy, commercial acumen, total lifecycle costing, contract development, and negotiation.Detailed knowledge for monitoring commodity input price fluctuations and availability (current and predictive) to help drive price and improve margin negotiations.Strong people leadership capability with the ability adapt to achieve desired objectives.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and high-level problem solving.What are we offering?Hybrid working arrangements (Tuesdays we are all in the office & eat lunch together!
