FIFO Perth to Pilbara (3:1) | Permanent Position Immediate Start | Field Service Land Cruiser or Hilux provided ASX listed organisation experiencing rapid growth The Business Genus Fleet Management forms part of the GenusPlus Group, a rapidly growing ASX listed company.GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) offers integrated multidisciplinary capabilities specialising in both electrical and instrumentation (E&I), mechanical fabrication, assembly, and installation.The Genus Fleet workshop is based in Kenwick WA, with a combination of mechanics, auto-electricians, welders and fleet coordinators.It is also supported by various depots around WA and nationwide, with fleet coordinators and mechanics servicing those depots.Genus Fleet Management are seeking 2x qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics to work FIFO from Perth to FMG Solomon mine site The Benefits Job security - Permanent, full-time positions $70 - $75 per hour (commensurate with experience) FIFO on 3:1 roster preferred Field Service Land Cruiser or Hilux provided Fantastic opportunity to join a growing ASX listed Company Access to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family The Role As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic you will report directly to and liaise with the On-site Fleet Manager on breakdowns, onsite maintenance and servicing of our on-site fleet including crane borers, excavators, cherry pickers.Duties included but are not limited to: Provide servicing and maintenance for medium and heavy trucks, EWP trucks, crane/borers for power line construction, earth moving and underground horizontal boring equipment.Integrate new technology to existing structures of all plant and machinery, including component refurbishing.Conduct performance testing on fleet vehicles and reduce equipment downtime with innovative problem solving.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults.Essential Skills / Qualifications & Experience Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate Aircon ticket essential 5+ Previous heavy duty diesel fitter/mechanic experience essential Broad experience on Japanese, American and European trucks Valid Australian Driver's License - "HR" Class Previous experience in conducting breakdowns / fault finding Strong ability to adapt to different, environments, and workloads Have sufficient and appropriate tools to perform the role Must have full Australian Working Rights as the position will commence ASAP Desirable Skills Hydraulics experience highly desirable Experience with directional drilling and excavating equipment highly desirable Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Crane Tickets highly desirable If you feel you meet the selection criteria, and would be a good fit for the role, please click APPLY NOW!!**GenusPlus Group values diversity and inclusion and we strongly encourage females and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply** **Where large numbers of applications are received, only those shortlisted shall be contacted**
