Job Description
Tasks will include vehicle software update coordination, setting up instrumentation, perform vehicle drives following corporate test procedures. Provide feedback (pass/ fail) criteria to lead engineer, update test plan and provide test report for the Driver Assistance Team.
Responsibilities
1. Driver Assistance Technology Engineering Support.
2. Lead for a subset of Driver Assistance Technology features and Attribute testing.
3. Ensure common standards and test methods are applied and applicable to vehicle program.
4. Support data collection for regional requirements for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
5. Maintain and report out program status report.
6. Organise test facilities and recommend validation test methods.
7. Follow customer guidelines and practices.
Qualifications
8. Automotive experience in a position of accountability.
9. Must have: Australian (or equivalent International) driver’s license with a good driving record.
10. Must have: Diagnostics/ CAN based experience and Automotive Systems knowledge.
11. An electrical engineering or technical qualification – Automotive bias preferred.
12. Demonstrable understanding of vehicle electrical feature/functions.
13. Independent worker, self-starter who can easily learn new tasks.
14. Excellent English communication skills and be able to successfully communicate with local and international colleagues.
