About The Role
Currie & Brown is looking for an Associate Director (Cost Management) to join our team in our Brisbane office. As an Associate Director you'll work on and deliver pre-contract cost management services across a portfolio of exciting projects. In this role we will be looking to you to develop and win business in our expanding Infrastructure team and you will bring a vast knowledge and understanding of this sector to the business and you will be looking to build a team around you and further develop this service line.
What will you be doing?
1. Providing accurate estimation and cost planning advice and present to our clients
2. Managing a team and provide continuous development
3. Delivering assignments competently and professionally
4. Managing resources, cost and time effectively to ensure margins are met
5. Providing regular feedback to the director on the commissions under your management.
6. Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What do you need?
7. At least 10+ years within Infrastructure sector in APAC and a track record of delivering large scale projects
8. BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
9. Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
10. Must come with significant pre-contract experience
11. Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills
12. Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute
13. A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible
