We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Facilities Manager to join the growing team in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Role Overview: As the Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day management of commercial/Retail properties, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional service to our tenants. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operations and maintenance of commercial buildings within the Wagga Wagga area. Manage relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors to ensure services meet agreed standards. Coordinate and oversee building repairs, preventative maintenance, and general facility services. Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety regulations and building codes are met. Ensure the properties are maintained in line with company policies and local government regulations. Oversee energy management and sustainability initiatives within the facilities. Collaborate with senior management to plan long-term facility strategies. Handle emergency maintenance requests and ensure issues are addressed promptly. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Building Manager, or similar role in a commercial environment. Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and maintenance procedures. Experience in managing contractors and service providers. Knowledge of Australian building codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability practices. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a strong focus on attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
