Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee the execution of all construction projects across the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, financial management, and project delivery.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage large teams and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Project Managers providing leadership and support across construction operations on all projects.
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and strategies to meet project objectives.
* Oversee project activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Monitor project budgets, cost planning, and financial forecasting to achieve financial targets.
* Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and problem-solving.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
* Drive project performance and innovation to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Deliver and detail project performance reports to the Directors.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
* Strong financial management skills with experience in cost control and forecasting.
* Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Certifications in Project Management and Workplace Health and Safety are highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
