If you have a commitment to delivering high quality and safe care then join the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Hepatology Fellow.
As the Hepatology Fellow, you will be responsible for the provision and maintenance of Hepatological Diseases and Sciences with the Surgical and Specialties Division at Flinders Medical Centre and their regional links. You will assist in the provision and effective functioning of physician-related clinical and academic activities in the field of Hepatology and Liver Transplant Medicine as relevant to the needs of the SALHN. This includes responsibility for acute services and chronic disease programs, as well as preventive programs and outreach clinics of direct relevance to clinical activities of the Hepatology Unit. In addition, the fellow in Hepatology and Liver Transplant Medicine will assist with the cohesive delivery of such services to the hospital, will contribute to broader activities in internal medicine including training and research and will generally cooperate with the broader provision of medical care at the site, especially in ensuring a cohesive joint clinical service with relevant surgeons, physicians and other health care professionals.
To be successful in tis role, you will have:
3. Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
4. Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
5. Acceptance into the RACP accredited training program
6. Experience in the medical management of general hepatology patients
