As a Data Governance Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to provide stakeholders with trusted, well-governed, and easily accessible data.
You'll play a key role in rolling out our Data Risk Management Framework, Policies, and Standards, ensuring we meet all current and future governance requirements.
Your expertise will be crucial in managing data risks and controls across our systems, and you'll have the opportunity to influence and support a diverse range of stakeholders in identifying, defining, and managing their critical data elements.
In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will span five core areas: data frameworks, policies and standards, data governance forums, management of data risk, and stakeholder and change management.
You'll oversee the centralised logging and monitoring of data quality issues, providing strategic recommendations for remediation.
Additionally, you'll track, measure, and report the progress of CDEs under governance adoption, ensuring continuous improvement in data quality.
About you You are an experienced Data Governance professional with a strong background in enterprise data areas such as Data Governance and Quality, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Engineering.
You have a deep understanding and practical experience in data quality, management, and governance frameworks and methodologies.
Your ability to work with third-party vendors and develop lasting relationships ensures success in your projects.
You have experience in regulated industries, preferably in Financial Services, and possess outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, allowing you to communicate effectively in both technical and business language.
You excel at cutting through complexity and thinking creatively at both strategic and tactical levels.
Your proven ability to quickly earn the trust of key stakeholders, mobilise and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflicts, and deliver tough messages with grace sets you apart.
You are adept at executing with limited information and ambiguity.
Additionally, you have knowledge of Agile environments or experience working with Agile teams and release trains.
