Your new role As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leadership and performance across multiple construction projects. Your role will include planning, directing, and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are delivered in line with company policy, contract, and government regulations. You will manage contract negotiations, industrial relations matters, budgets, and employee management. You may also support the State Construction Manager in business development, tendering, and client engagement activities. Lead and supervise multiple Project Managers for effective project planning, organisation, and administration. Manage KPIs and contractual obligations to achieve project targets. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental systems and processes. Address project risks, opportunities, and issues. Provide leadership and technical guidance to project teams. Ensure projects deliver to target dates. Advise senior management on construction management, commercial, and risk activities. Communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders. Recruit, train, and develop project staff for high performance and positive engagement. Participate in tendering and business improvement activities. What you'll need to succeed 15 years experience working on construction projects in health, education, and data centres in the Tier 1 or Tier 2 building space.Experience in delivering projects valued up from $50M.Expert knowledge of construction legislation and relevant software.Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder relationships.Strong analytical, decision-making, and organisational skills.Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
