ManagerJob Description Manager - Group Audit Permanent opportunitySydney basedHybrid working model How will I help?As a Manager in Group Audit, you will interact directly with key business stakeholders and other Group Audit teams. You will lead independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures, and deep dives across the Westpac Group and identify areas for remediation and opportunities for enhancement.You will interact directly with business units and other Group Audit home teams. You will participate in independent reviews of control frameworks, systems, policies and procedures within the Consumer, Business and Wealth divisions and identify areas for remediation and opportunities for enhancement.Some of the key accountabilities are: Executing audit planning, including the identification of processes, risks and controls for testing.Executing audit fieldwork including testing the design and operating effectiveness of controls, identifying and documenting audit issues, including performing a significance analysis and agreeing management action plans.Assisting in the reporting stages of the audit engagement, including preparing and discussing audit reports with management.Continuously monitoring Consumer, Business and Wealth divisions and Lines of Business developments, activities, issue management, emerging risks or concerns.Participating in team and continuous improvement initiatives. At least 3 years audit or relevant risk management experience, with expertise in reviewing risks and controls in a Financial Services organisation.University degree in a business related discipline.Post graduate qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), or Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) desirable.Knowledge in data analytics techniques and tools (e.g. Alteryx) strongly desirable.Strong communication and relationship skills What's it like to work there?We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other.
