ACM is excited to partner with a local government division seeking a dedicated Procurement Business Partner to join their dynamic team.
This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to community-enhancing projects in Western Sydney.
About the Role:In this pivotal role, you will provide expert procurement and contract management advice to stakeholders on Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Funded Projects.
You'll ensure governance and probity throughout all processes, managing tendering and quotations in line with established policies and procedures.
Additionally, you'll deliver superior customer service while ensuring full compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For:To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) and/or relevant industry experience.• Experience: Previous experience in a medium to large organisation in contract administration, supply chain logistics, project management, or construction procurement.• Construction Procurement Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing procurement processes for construction projects.• Organisational Skills: Strong time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.• Customer Service Focus: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy and a strong sense of professional responsibility.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management systems such as SAP or Finance 1.• Problem Solving & Negotiation: Proven ability to resolve issues effectively.• Values-Driven Approach: Commitment to corporate values and ethical practices.
