Job Purpose
This role will be responsible for supplier management, business continuity and sustainability, owning the category procurement strategy and total cost of ownership improvements to achieve Vista targets.
The Role and Responsibilities:
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Improvement:
1. Plan annual tenders, improvements projects and negotiations calendar aligned with category and BUs’ priority list
2. Find opportunities and prepare RFIs/RFQs
3. Suggest and implement sourcing strategy
4. Implement price negotiations in multiple formats
5. Co-lead negotiations award; follow up supplier transitions
Category Strategy
6. Co-develop Category Procurement Strategy including:
7. Scoping, industry analysis, business requirements, risk assessment, stakeholder mapping, category plan, etc.
Supplier Management
8. Identify new potential suppliers
9. Review Supplier performance periodically
10. Work on Continuous Improvement programs
11. Keep supplier engaged with Vista to maximise results
12. Coordinate supplier work for quality issues resolution
13. Assure NDAs, Contracts and Terms & Conditions are signed and up to date
New Revenue + Business Continuity + Sustainability & CSR
14. Support businesses teams to introduce new products
15. Suggests alternatives for new products
16. Monitor and understand industry trends
17. Change materials and suppliers to achieve Sustainability Targets
18. Monitor supplier risks and act to mitigate them
Key Performance Indicators
19. Understand key performance indicators.
20. Input required information in Sievo and assure it is up to date
21. Maintain SAP for all procurement SKU’s
22. Follow category market intelligence
23. Co-develop annual budget
24. Be a trusted “go to person” for all BUs procurement needs of the category
25. Continuous improvement initiatives, commercial and other relevant topics
26. Initiate long and short terms initiatives with suppliers
Key Skills and Experience for the role:
27. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, financial or technical study
28. Minimum of 5 years regional procurement experience preferred.
29. Experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple BU’s, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure preferred
30. High level user of Microsoft applications, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
31. Analytical skills, good knowledge of business analysis and costing – TCO models
32. Basic knowledge of legal documents, able to read and interpret contracts, and involve the legal support, when necessary, through Plant Director
33. Experience in Packaging, Graphic Printing or Signage categories
