Provisional Psychologist – Supervision, Training & Pathway to Registration
Are you a Provisional Psychologist or about to commence your AHPRA-approved placement within the next three months? Looking for a structured, supportive, and enriching environment to develop your clinical skills and transition confidently into full registration?
At Thriving Minds Psychology Clinic, we provide a comprehensive training pathway that includes supervision, diverse clinical experience, and access to psychometric assessments, ensuring you meet all AHPRA requirements while developing confidence and competence as a psychologist.
Why Join Us?
* Internship-Ready Placement – Our structured provisional pathway has successfully guided multiple psychologists through to registration.
* On-Site Supervision & Mentorship – Receive individual and group supervision with our Board-Approved Supervisor, Melissa Johnson, an internationally trained psychologist passionate about supporting early-career clinicians.
* Diverse Client Base – Work with children, adolescents, and adults, gaining exposure to a wide range of presentations.
* Assessments & Psychometrics Training – Develop skills in cognitive, autism, ADHD, and educational assessments, with access to a comprehensive testing library (including ADOS, ADI-R, WISC, WAIS, WIAT, Connors, Browns, Vinelands, and more).
* Therapy Experience – Deliver evidence-based interventions across various presentations in a structured and supportive environment.
* Flexible Start Times – We prefer morning (8:00 AM starts) or afternoon/evening shifts (1:30 PM starts) to meet client needs. However, we understand individual circumstances vary and are open to discussing alternative scheduling options.
* Established Provisional Psychologist Network – Be part of a team of current and former provisionals who have successfully completed their pathways with us.
* Admin & Operational Support – Our dedicated reception team manages referrals, bookings, and billing so you can focus on developing your clinical skills.
