About the Role:
Join us in a pivotal role as an ICT Logistics Manager, overseeing supply chain activities for ICT equipment. The Federal government department is seeking an ICT Logistics Manager to oversee the logistics and supply chain activities related to ICT equipment to support the delivery of the ICT solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the ICT procurement team to choose vendors for ICT equipment.
2. Manage the flow of ICT equipment, including storage, distribution, and asset tracking.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels and locations.
4. Coordinate logistics, including shipment schedules and delivery tracking.
5. Address logistics-related risks and issues, ensuring smooth operations.
6. Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by the department.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, aligning logistics with IT, procurement, operations, and finance.
8. Demonstrated success in developing logistics strategies for transportation, warehousing, and distribution of ICT assets.
9. Track record in implementing effective inventory management processes.
10. Ability to provide valuable insights to enhance logistics operations and resource planning.
