We are currently looking for passionate and highly dedicated applicants to join our Culinary Team as the Sous Chef in Oasis, a private dining space for our most valuable guests.

What are we looking for in our successful Sous Chef?
9. Proven experience as a Sous Chef and relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
10. Knowledge of a variety of Asian cooking styles (wok skills advantageous)
11. Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team
12. Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, late nights and early mornings
A few of your responsibilities:
15. Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management
16. Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies
17. Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions
18. Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests.
