As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for an energetic and proactive General Manager to join our small, dedicated team and help take our club to new heights.About the Role: As General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the club, working directly with the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that our members enjoy exceptional experiences. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a "go attitude" who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with a small, collaborative team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving growth, enhancing profitability, and strengthening our ties within the community.Your Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth service and high-quality member experiences.Inspire and motivate our team to deliver exceptional customer service.Manage the Club's finances, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.Prepare and deliver fortnightly reports to the Board of Directors.Drive the growth of the club's business and identify new revenue opportunities.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, laws, and corporate governance.Spearhead marketing and promotion efforts to raise the club's profile and engage members.Build and maintain key relationships with customers, suppliers, and community stakeholders.Represent the club in the community, acting as its "face" in local networks and industry groups.What We're Looking For: Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating teams.Hands-on operational expertise, including gaming room management, stock control, and function planning.Strong financial management and reporting skills with the ability to analyse data and drive results.Prior management experience in a similar role within a licensed club or hospitality environment.A commitment to exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail.A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational improvements.Ability to work closely with a Board of Directors to execute strategies and meet business objectives.Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a focus on collaboration.Current NSW RSA and RCG certification, along with eligibility for a Liquor Licence.Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the Club.Why Join Us?If you're passionate about making an impact and ready for the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
