About the opportunity:

The role, reporting to the Service Manager, will provide leadership and manage the catering, housekeeping, and laundry services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage meal preparation and catering service, ensuring that the residents are provided with a variety of nutritious meals whilst maintaining health regulation compliance.
* Manage the housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that the residents receive efficient and effective services, with all the requirements met in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
What you’ll bring:
* Relevant Qualification & previous work experience as a Chef or Cook is essential.
* Ability to be hands-on in the kitchen.
* Strong leadership skills with proven experience, managing & coaching large teams in a busy environment.
* Prior experience in preparation & cooking techniques for a large number of people.
* Experience in menu coordination including development of recipes, tailored to an aged care environment.
* Working knowledge of OHS & food safety standards.
* Experience in managing housekeeping and laundry functions.
* Experience working within Aged Care is desirable.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
* Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
