Job Title: Auxiliary Firefighter

About the Role:
The QFES is responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland through effective prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as a member of a team.
* Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
* Develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses.
* Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
Requirements:
* Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
* Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.
* Australian Permanent Resident Status.
* Manual C Class driver's licence.
