Working within the Programs Department, you’ll lead and guide a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, and program facilitators to deliver evidence-based interventions that support inmate rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Wooroloo, WA. As a Senior Psychologist or Senior Social Worker, you’ll make a positive impact by: Providing clinical supervision and guidance to team members delivering interventions. Supporting and evaluating the delivery of offender programs to ensure quality and adherence to evidence-based practices. Assisting in the research, development, and delivery of innovative group programs and workshops Promoting cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity among prisoners and colleagues. Actively participating in the development and implementation of strategies to improve program outcomes and prisoner engagement. To be successful in this role, you’ll have : Psychologist: Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (a master’s degree is highly desirable). Social Worker: Degree in Social Work; AND membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (a master’s degree is highly desirable). Demonstrated experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, ideally in a correctional or institutional setting. Experience in group facilitation, particularly addressing complex mental health or behavioural concerns. Advanced report-writing skills and the ability to deliver constructive feedback to team members. Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for offender rehabilitation and the management of clinical disorders prevalent in correctional populations.
