This role is responsible for the delivery of high quality, professional customer service for council’s Kilkivan Office. The position provides all aspects of administration support for the Kilkivan Office, The role includes daily operation of the front counter and support for the administrative functions of other council business units as directed by the Coordinator Kilkivan OfficeEssential Knowledge & Skills Relevant qualifications or experience in a customer service industry or the ability to demonstrate equivalent related experience. Demonstrated ability in providing high level administration and operational support. Demonstrated comprehensive computer skills including experience in Microsoft office applications and financial management systems. Demonstrated and well-developed verbal, written and active listening communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with the community and staff. Resilience in dealing with a variety of customer interactions and the ability to multi-task. Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s license or above that is current and maintained. Essential Requirements Deliver high-quality customer service by providing accurate and consistent advice to customers through a range of mediums including face to face, phone, and email. Provide effective and high-quality administration support for the Kilkivan Office including collation of files, document management, data entry, application entry, mail services, invoice generation, processing payments, receipting, banking, and reconciliation. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to undertake hire bookings and related administration for Council owned or managed community facilities, such as the Kilkivan and Goomeri Halls, Kilkivan Health Centre, Goomeri Community Rooms, Kilkivan Tennis Courts and Kilkivan Equestrian Centre. Provide administrative support for council’s six cemeteries, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Provide an efficient and timely service to receipt Council’s Corporate Uniform orders. As required, provide administrative support for other council business units (e.g. Building and Plumbing Services) at the direction of the coordinator - Kilkivan Office.
