Your new role:
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who has natural curiosity and loves the idea of making an impact, to join the Financial Products team. The Financial Products team focuses on the portfolios for Pet, Travel, Life, Income insurance products.
You'll have the opportunity to define the end-to-end user experiences, and interaction design on Medibank's public-facing website to optimise user journeys. You'll also get a chance to contribute to reimaging user's experience purchasing and using our financial products together with partners.
Responsible for all aspects of the design process, you'll work collaboratively within a cross-functional team to conduct research to better understand users, prototype and concept features in Figma, use and contribute to our design system, discuss feasibility and design implementation.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to translate business requirements and insights into a design approach.
* Think creatively to develop concepts and experience that will engage our customers and support the Medibank strategy.
* Create design artifacts that clearly communicate the intended user experience, including (but not limited to) user flows, wireframes, concept mock-ups, and prototypes.
* Product UI and detailed interaction designs for responsive web and occasional native app platforms.
* Prepare design assets and guidelines as needed for development teams and support the implementation by collaborating with developers and QA team.
* Ensure that your design decisions are informed by quantitative and qualitative data and best practices.
* Proactively identify user experience and design opportunities.
* Understand accessibility standards and deliver designs to meet them.
* Contribute to and manage aspects of Medibank's Design Language System, including creating scalable, flexible UI components, interaction patterns and design principles.
About you:
You're someone who possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written). You can demonstrate your solid career experience as a Senior Product Designer with 5+ years direct experience working in the field of UX and digital design, or 3+ years in design experience with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience working in other fields of design or digital delivery.
There are some skills you must possess
* Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and ability to collaborate well within a team.
* Experience designing and shipping software for multiple device types and contexts.
* Fluency with visual and interaction tool as well as prototyping tools for web and mobile experiences.
* Deep knowledge of UI best practices and design principles.
* Proficiency in Figma, Dovetail and
* Knowledge of iterative product design, from rough sketches, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes to the final high-fidelity result.
* UX research and analysis skills.
