The opportunity: Shoes & Sox is looking for an experienced, highly organised, data-driven and self-motivated marketing generalist to lead our omnichannel marketing activity. Reporting directly to Brand Collective's Group Marketing Centre of Excellence and with a close partnership with the Shoes & Sox GM, you will drive growth for Australia's largest kids shoe retailer, working across functions and owning all organic channels, building strategic relationships, driving brand expansion and experience, and working collaboratively with online, retail, and product to communicate Shoes & Sox's unique service differentiation – the experts in fitting kids feet. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye balanced with a commercial lens and needs to be comfortable flexing between strategic thinking and roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on execution and will have a proven track record of excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Integrated Marketing Calendar & Go-to-Market Plan: Supporting the long-term strategy, you will develop and execute a strategic annual marketing plan and roadmap that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion while achieving business objectives. Omni-Channel Campaigns: Lead the planning and execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, Loyalty, social media, influencer marketing, in-store marketing, local area marketing, paid digital and traditional media. Content & Brand Presence Management: Optimize the brand's presence through effective planning, briefing and deployment of creative content across all digital, social and physical channels. This includes the vital role of managing the content critical path and the accompanying workflow. Content & Communications Strategy: Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive content & communications strategy, including always on, campaigns and new launches, Loyalty and more. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other brand and group functional partners to deliver brand campaigns and experiences against the marketing calendar. Collaborate with brand and group functional stakeholders across Retail, Digital, VM, Creative Graphics and more to ensure consistent brand messaging across all consumer touchpoints. Performance Analysis: Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, leveraging data to inform decision-making and future marketing directions. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to achieve business goals. Team Leadership: Collaborate with, guide and cultivate a small but mighty marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management and Communications: Ensure all critical stakeholders within the brand and across the group are continually informed and up-to-date on key campaigns and milestones. Industry Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, customer insights, and emerging marketing technologies to guide strategic decisions. Brand Consistency: Champion the new brand direction, guidelines and templates to ensure our story-telling, creative and brand communications are on-brand and consistent across all customer touchpoints. Community Partnerships: Collaborating closely with community partners like Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia), Camp Quality, and Tread Lightly on always-on endeavours and planning key events. Budget Management: You will work with senior Group Marketing and Brand GM stakeholders to build the marketing budget and manage the day-to-day budget and invoicing requirements. The skills and experience you offer us: A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role. Previous experience in omnichannel retail marketing is essential. Possess tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or business. A clear understanding of brand and a creative eye. Demonstrate proven commercial acumen, providing examples of analytical findings and measurable success from previous initiatives. Show clear cross-functional experience and have considerable experience with stakeholder and project management. Possess excellent communication and visual skills. Be proficient across the Microsoft suite with proven Excel abilities. Highly organised with a proven track record of juggling multiple projects and stakeholders. Experience in running a marketing calendar, marketing budget, media plan, and content plan. Have previously driven growth through loyalty, email and social media channels, deeply understanding these platforms and identifying emerging channels. Attention to detail.
