An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Support Technician to join a leading, Australian-based IT Managed Services Provider.

We are looking to add an experienced Level 3 Technician to support our growth, based in any of our three office locations - Thornton NSW, Armidale NSW, or Townsville QLD.

About the role:
The role is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Technician to support more junior team members, while enjoying the support and assistance from other experienced Technicians and Project Engineers within our team.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
* Managing, monitoring and maintaining client IT systems
* Identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting network, security, hardware, and software problems
* Providing high-level, remote support to clients
* Providing support, mentorship and training to other support team members
* Administration of O365 and Active Directory
* Administration of large computer networks
* Provisioning, monitoring and maintenance of network security and backup strategies
* Assisting with onboarding and network discovery of new client systems
* Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues
* Identification of improvement opportunities for internal and client systems, and implementation of these solutions
About you (desirable skills and traits of our ideal candidate):
* 5+ years' experience in an IT Technician or Systems Administrator role, preferably within an MSP environment
* Completion of relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco Meraki, leadership/management, etc), desirable
* Strong understanding of IT principles across network, server and desktop environments
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
* Genuine passion for providing excellence in IT customer support, with a customer driven attitude
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Excellent critical thinking, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
* Leadership and mentoring support skills
* Committed to continue upskilling
* Experience in the use of ConnectWise Manage and N-able N-central, desirable
