We are seeking a highly energetic and motivated ICT Business Development Representative who is growth conscious and could take responsibility of handling outbound sales. Being a small team in our Melbourne office, this position works with minimal supervision and the candidate must be an enthusiastic "can do person".
In this role, you will be required to generate new leads by utilizing your past experience, professional relationships, exhibitions & trade fairs, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, digital marketing, etc. Meet companies of all sizes from sole traders to SMEs, Corporates, Universities, Government bodies etc. to pitch our cost-effective IT services that empower businesses to adapt to new technology, further develop and maintain existing projects, discuss new solutions to automate business processes, and also provide clients an option of deploying dedicated development staff as their extended team to help reduce costs by 50-70%.

About the role
A few key responsibilities a candidate must fulfil:
Develop growth strategies & collaborate with team members to achieve best results and focus on enhancing processes
Proactively identify new business opportunities
Lead generation and securing new business opportunities through calling, networking, exhibitions, social media campaigns and other means.
Enhance existing client relationships and manage a small volume inbound lead with help of our in-house team
Ensure high standards of professionalism and client satisfaction
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
Knowledge of technology, business products and domains is preferable
Report on successes and areas needing improvements
Our ideal candidate:
Must be comfortable with outbound calls and prospecting plans
Must possess good customer service and closing techniques
Excellent communication skills
Manage sales pipeline and CRM platform
Must be able to multitask and be flexible to manage working hours as necessary
You are a self-starter, goal-oriented and commercially savvy where you possess the ability to excel in both a team-based and autonomous environment.
Preferred:
Associate or bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree
Minimum 3 Years experience as an ICT business development representative.
Base salary 80k-100k depending on experience and un-capped commission scheme OTE. Fantastic opportunity to make $150-$300k per annum.
