About the Role:
As a VP of Sustainability and Impact, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing Quinbrook's sustainability and impact (SI) policies across its investment portfolio and operations.
You will collaborate with investment teams, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks while driving best practices in sustainability performance.
This is a global role, reporting into the Global Head of Sustainability and Impact Investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SI policies across climate and biodiversity risk management, supply chain sustainability, green construction, waste management, water conservation, labour standards, human rights, and anti-corruption.
Work closely with portfolio companies and projects to establish, monitor, and measure value-add sustainability efforts, define KPIs, and set clear impact goals.
Drive engagement with key suppliers to maintain and enhance sustainability standards, traceability, and supply chain innovation.
Take ownership of annual climate risk reporting (TCFD, TNFD) and sustainability-related disclosures for Quinbrook's portfolio.
Develop thought leadership, contribute to industry standards, and participate in industry forums and regulatory dialogues.
Support investor relations by responding to ESG-related queries and assisting in fundraising and engagement efforts.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Proven (5+ years) of experience in sustainability, ESG, or responsible investing, particularly within renewable energy, industrial decarbonisation, mining, data centres, or green construction.
Strong expertise in carbon accounting, emissions measurement, sustainability reporting, and supply chain traceability.
Knowledge of relevant ESG frameworks, including: TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains Experience with sustainability benchmarking, impact measurement, and industry-specific ESG data analytics.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting software familiarity.
Ability to work independently and be a "self-starter".
