Endeavour Primary School is seeking to appoint an efficient and dedicated Manager Corporate Services to join their leadership team.
In collaboration with the Principal and/or the Executive Management Team, provide operational input to the development of school Business and Marketing Plans and monitor the school’s financial performance. The successful applicant will develop, implement and monitor asset management and maintenance strategies for school facilities, equipment and buildings.
The desired applicant should have strong leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound service principals and practices. Excellent communication and organisational skills to execute tasks in a timely manner is highly desirable.
Endeavour Primary School is located in the suburb of Port Kennedy, approximately 10km south of Rockingham. Working in partnership with the Endeavour Education Support Centre, we have formed Endeavour Schools to provide a truly inclusive setting for the benefit of all students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. We take pride in our inclusive practices across all year levels and our ability to provide diverse learning opportunities for students and staff.
Students are taught in modern classrooms; all with access to the latest in information technology. We also have multiple play areas designed to provide opportunities for students to interact and develop their physical skills and imagination through nature based play. The School Board and Parent & Citizens are actively engaged in supporting the Schools in resourcing and strategic planning that ensures student success while interacting with the broader school community network.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
1. Leadership skills in the delivery of business outcomes and sound customer service principles and practices.
2. Well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
3. Sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
4. sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply Human resource management practices and systems.
5. ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
6. Sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
