Intro Recruitment are seeking an experienced Admin and Accounts Support Officer to join a dynamic team. This individual will provide key administrative, and accounts support for our client, a growing building company based in Hemmant. Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day accounts operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable and preparing x2 batch payment runs per month. Manage and reconcile company accounts and credit cards in Xero. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, including tracking expenses and variances. Assist with end-of-month financial closing, including balancing accounts and preparing statements. Process and track employee reimbursements and supplier invoices. Assist with payroll processing including ensuring all timesheets and employee details are accurate. Assist to maintain confidential payroll records. Provide general administrative support including reception duties, managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Assist internal communication, and the preparation of internal reports and documentation. Handle incoming calls, emails, and manage meeting room schedules. Assist with the set up of new starters, the point of induction before they join their relative team. Management of uniform and marketing/merch supplies orders. Assist with Team Event planning Domestic Travel bookings and coordination End-of-Month reporting Candidate Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, or related fields. Experience with the construction industry or building businesses is advantageous. A working knowledge of additional programs, such as a project management system integrating with Xero and Excel. Self-motivated and proactive. Reliable and able to manage competing priorities. Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Willingness to be the right-hand person to assist the Business Manager in all aspects of admin and accounts when it comes to the medium sized business.
