The Position These locum roles cover general practice, community health and occasional urgent care. You'll work alongside experienced Practice Nurses, with the support of visiting specialists and the broader health service team.The work is varied, rewarding, and perfect for doctors who value continuity of care in a community-focused setting. Where You'll Be - Location & Travel Information Both Ouyen and Sea Lake are located in Victoria's stunning Mallee region, known for its wide-open spaces, welcoming communities, and iconic sunsets.Ouyen is approximately 5.5 hours by car from Melbourne. If you prefer to fly, you can fly into Mildura, then it's just a 1.5-hour drive south.Sea Lake is slightly closer to Melbourne, around 4 hours by car, making it one of the more accessible rural locum spots for Victorian-based doctors.Both towns offer a friendly, community-focused feel, with strong local support networks, and the health service takes care of all travel arrangements - so getting there is easy and stress-free.
