Key Responsibilities: Assess and deliver professional, patient-centred care within the High Dependency Unit. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide health education, counselling, and rehabilitation programs to improve patient outcomes. Offer guidance and support to less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, and students. Contribute to the continuous professional development and skill enhancement of the team. Foster productive relationships with all members of the HDU team for a cohesive working environment. About You You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads You will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
