THE ROLE As a Corporate Finance Associate in Indie Campers, you will be part of the Corporate Finance Team and responsible for funding the business for all its operational and investment needs.
You will be dealing with different realities and projects, ranging from Bank & Investor relations, Fleet Financing, Fleet Procurement to Insurance for the APAC region.
This role gives you a fantastic exposure to the company's business model, funding, and cashflow management strategy, together with the opportunity to work and interact with financial, operations and asset teams.
You will be joining our Corporate Finance team in our Sydney offices, reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Director.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? Finance and manage projects for the organization (research, approach, close) with banks, investors, and leasing partners.
Headline fleet related purchases, such as insurance and managing relationship with leasing and production companies.
Negotiate with, and prospect, Insurance companies and Brokers to secure better conditions.
Prepare cash flow maps, design strategy for use of funds, and support on treasury decisions, continuously forecasting cash flow needs for the following 18 months.
Assist developing the funding strategy of the business for its operational and investment plan, whilst contributing to 5 Y business plan for the company, including new business units to be created.
Prepare reports for Board, Shareholders, and Management meetings.
Prepare reports on business update and financial statements for external stakeholders.
Create, structure, and set up special financing projects with the strong collaboration of other departments.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Management, Economics or Finance.
More than 3 years of experience in corporate and strategy finance positions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fast learner and tech-savvy, eager to implement new procedures with new tools to improve efficiency through automation of tasks.
Results-driven with attention to detail, being autonomous and responsible for deliverables.
Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations.
You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
