Our Community Paediatric Service is seeking a highly motivated Grade 3 Psychologist to contribute to our multidisciplinary team. The successful incumbent will provide leadership and supervision to Psychology and allied health teams, working collaboratively with the Paediatric leadership team to drive improvement initiatives.
The role involves providing community-based services to children and adolescents in the outer west, including participation in multidisciplinary autism assessments, developmental assessment clinics, and psycho-educational assessments to support families. Opportunities for short-term intervention and information provision are also available.
As part of this role, you will work collaboratively with other professionals, including Psychologists, Paediatricians, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers, and Allied Health Assistants. Clinical supervision is a key aspect of this role, with opportunities to connect with Psychology teams across Western Health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and supervision to Psychology and allied health teams
* Collaborate with the Paediatric leadership team to drive improvement initiatives
* Conduct multidisciplinary autism assessments, developmental assessment clinics, and psycho-educational assessments
* Provide short-term intervention and information to support families
