We are seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to drive HR initiatives and support operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines operational and strategic HR responsibilities, focusing on employee engagement, talent management, and ensuring a thriving workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals and foster a high-performance culture.Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.Workplace Health & Safety: Lead and implement health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a safe workplace.Policy Development: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance.Talent Acquisition: Assist the talent acquisition team, where required, with recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.Compliance & Reporting: Monitor employment law updates and ensure HR practices meet legislative requirements. Prepare and deliver insightful HR and safety reports to senior management.Engagement & Retention: Drive initiatives to promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, enhancing employee engagement and retention across teams.About You:To excel in this role, you will bring:A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.Ideally 5+ years of experience in an HR Advisory or a HRBP role.Proven knowledge of employment law and compliance.Experience managing workplace health and safety programs.Strong strategic and operational HR expertise.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.Experience in Agri or similar industry advantageous.Location & Travel:The role is primarily based on site approximately 2 hours west of Toowoomba/3.5 hours west of Brisbane. Candidates based in Brisbane will be considered with the expectation of regular travel to the feedlot (approximately 2-3 days fortnightly).
