Collaborating with internal and external teams, you’ll help maintain seamless inventory and procurement processes. Your work will support Australia’s Defence capabilities while making a positive impact on team success. You’ll make a difference by: Preparing and managing purchase and limit orders Receiving, issuing, and managing goods and stock distribution Maintaining accurate stock records and preparing inventories Verifying supply invoices against purchase orders Coordinating purchasing, warehousing, and inventory functions Supporting the disposal of surplus and obsolete assets Completing monthly management reports Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role you’ll have: Must be an Australian Citizen and currently hold or can obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance Proven success in a supply/logistics role Knowledge of preparing purchase orders, using SAP and SRM Experience in sourcing of supply and obtaining quotes from suppliers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent stakeholder management skills High level of ability to use the Microsoft Office suite Ability to produce high quality work within tight timeframes Desirable: Experience within Defence Industry, preferably as a Royal Australian Navy supplier Certificate / Diploma in Logistic or Commercial Purchasing Understanding of ADF contractual agreements and processes This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment as an essential selection component for this role.
