Due to continued expansion Ferrycarrig have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our team.
This position will be based on a Transport project based in the Sydney Metro Area .

What you will be doing You will be responsible for the overseeing delivery of a road transport project.
Supervise operations associated with supply, production, and quality assurance & control.
Provide hands on support to sites including materials, handling, accepting deliveries, on the tools etc.
Read and understand scopes, plans, and programs.
Responsibility for all actions, activities and works undertaken on site by all site trades and subcontractors.
Ensure adequate labour and subcontract are maintained on site to ensure safety, quality and efficiency are always maintained.
Co-ordinate works on site in accordance with and update the status of the construction program as requested by the Project Manager.
Provide costs for variations when requested by the client in consultation with Project Manager.
Assist the Project Manager with measuring and quantifying of works completed on site for progress claims.
Collate the Site-Specific Construction Phase Quality, Safety & Environmental Plan, submit and amend as required.
Ensure SWMS are in place for all activities.
Provide Project / Tender Methodologies when requested.
Collate and issue O&M Manuals on project completion.
Responsible for delivering commercial construction projects on time; on budget; and critically in line with customer expectations.
Contribute to business improvement processes.
Maintain and foster relationships / contacts with all stakeholders both within and external to the business.
Report to Senior Management on a regular basis through weekly and monthly reports and meetings.
Any other duties which may be required from time to time as directed.
Is this job for me The successful candidate will have 8 to 10 years' of demonstrated experience as a site supervisor working on Civil Infrastructure Projects.
Will need to have 5 years' experience working on TFNSW spec projects preferably a minimum of 2 as a Supervisor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, outlook, Project and Excel as well as general computer proficiency.
Must have exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multi – task.
Demonstrate skillset in stakeholder management and have managed a large team in terms of project delivery.
