Churches of Christ is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Campus Chaplain to join our team in Warwick.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to provide holistic care and support to residents, family members, and staff across our campus services.About YouAs the Campus Chaplain, you will be instrumental in fostering an environment ofcommunication and cooperation across the campus.Your responsibilities will include:?Holistic Pastoral Care: Develop and implement a comprehensive pastoral care program, offering confidential emotional and spiritual support to clients, their families, and staff upon request.
?Spiritual Nurturing: Collaborate with service managers to cultivate a Jesus-centred spirituality within the campus, including the provision of religious services and programs.
?Community Building: Work alongside staff to create a welcoming environment where residents feel a true sense of home and belonging.
?Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Contribute pastoral and spiritual insights as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, enhancing the overall care of residents.
?Volunteer Coordination: Engage with local churches and stakeholders to develop and empower a vibrant team of volunteers, enhancing the care services within the campus.
?Qualifications and Experience:Educational Background: Certificate IV in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, Christian Ministry, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
?Experience: A minimum of three years' experience in providing pastoral care or chaplaincy services within a health or community environment.
?Endorsement: Eligibility for endorsement as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ in Queensland.
?Skills: Demonstrated ability to model a missional lifestyle, communicate Christian beliefs effectively within the Australian context, and exhibit servant leadership qualities.
