Role: D365 Solution Architect
Duration : >12 months
Need a seasoned Dynamics 365 Solution Architect with a strong background in retail and a proven track record in leading large-scale migrations and digital transformations. Plays a pivotal role in our migration from Dynamics AX to D365 F&O. Responsible for the overall design and architecture of the D365 solution, ensuring it aligns with customer’s business goals and retail industry best practices. Technical thought leadership, stakeholder engagement skills, and deep understanding of the retail domain will be crucial in driving the success of this transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the architecture and design of the Dynamics 365 F&O solution, ensuring it meets business requirements and industry standards.
· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective, scalable, and sustainable D365 solutions.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including developers, analysts, and other architects.
· Ensure the solution architecture aligns with overall IT strategy and integrates seamlessly with other systems and technologies.
· Drive the migration strategy from Dynamics AX to D365 F&O, including data migration, customizations, and integrations.
· Conduct architectural reviews and assessments, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
· Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure successful adoption and utilization of D365 F&O.
· Stay abreast of the latest D365 features, updates, and best practices, incorporating them into our solution where relevant.
· Engage with other vendors as needed to resolve complex technical issues and explore new capabilities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 8+ years of experience in Dynamics AX/D365 F&O implementations, with a focus on the retail industry.
· Strong understanding of retail operations, processes, and challenges.
· Proven experience in leading large-scale D365 migrations or implementations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) are highly desirable.
