Motor Mechanic role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, repairing damaged parts, and improving transmission functionality.Responsibilities include:Diagnosing vehicle issues through visual inspection and computerized diagnostic tools.Repairing or replacing damaged or worn-out parts, including engines, brakes, and suspension components.Troubleshooting complex gearbox-related problems and implementing precise solutions.Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling mechanical components to enhance vehicle safety and reliability.Maintaining accurate service records and reporting findings to customers and management.Performing routine and preventive maintenance, including fluid changes and inspection of mechanical features.Installing new or rebuilt transmission into vehicles, ensuring correct calibration and optimal performance.Requirements:Relevant Certificate IV or Diploma in Automotive.At least 1 year of experience in a similar automotive repair.At least 1 year of experience in transmissions/ gearbox repairs/ installations (manual and automatic).Formal apprenticeship will be given preference.At least 1 year of Australian experience in automotive repair.Skills needed:Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.Good communication skills for effectively explaining technical issues to non-technical customers.Capacity to work independently and in a team setting.Strong commitment to safety and customer service.Annual salary: $70,000 to $80,000 Plus Superannuation.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
