Roles Available: Intermediate Accountant Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 Super As an Intermediate Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and SMSFs. You’ll manage Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns while working closely with clients to provide tax advice and strategic recommendations. You’ll also assist with financial statement preparation and gain exposure to a range of accounting and advisory services. Senior Accountant Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 Super In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing complex client portfolios, preparing detailed financial models, and providing strategic tax advice on Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Division 7A, and other intricate tax matters. You’ll oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage client engagement, and ensure compliance with ATO regulations. You’ll also mentor junior staff and lead various internal and client-facing initiatives. Key Responsibilities for Both Roles: Lead the preparation and review of tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns. Provide tax and business advisory services to individuals and SMEs. Conduct detailed financial analyses, account reconciliations, and reporting. Collaborate with clients to identify tax planning opportunities and provide actionable strategies.
