This role is a critical part of the sterilising process which will see you working within your team to meet the needs of the peri-op team. Reporting to the CSSD Manager, you will work within an efficient and supportive professional team to assist the perioperative team to deliver the best care for our patients.Duties may include but are not limited to;Working within a team to process instruments, trays, and equipment in a timely manner.You will be within various allocated areas in the department.You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have:Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit is desirable.Your positive outlook will enable you to collaborate effectively with our team and independently as required.You will be customer service oriented in both internal and external settings.Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.Exceptional organisational skills.Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023.RemunerationOn offer is a base hourly rate of $30.24 - $39.45 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.What’s in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
