If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Team at Amrun Village, Far North Qld.
Liaising closely with our client and site leaders, your primary responsibility will be to plan and lead our preventative and corrective maintenance programs while providing leadership and support to work teams to address maintenance requirements.
We are looking for applicants who are local or willing to relocate to Weipa. This role will be based at Amrun Village on a 5:2 roster (home for the weekend). Subsidised housing and work vehicle is offered with this role, so you can bring your family with you. This is a permanent, full-time position with Sodexo.
Candidates must have:
1. Current Driver License
2. General Construction Induction (i.e. ‘White’) card
3. Trade Qualification
4. Demonstrated experience in leading trades teams
5. Strong WH&S knowledge
6. Strong written and verbal communication
Relocation:
We’re happy to help you relocate to Weipa and acknowledge that relocating for work can be a challenge. To make the relocation process a little easier, we are able to offer financial components in addition to your salary, TBC.
What does a Maintenance Supervisor do:
* Effectively supervise and lead a team of trades .
* Ensure all servicing and maintenance work is performed in accordance with Client and Company Management Systems, Statutory Obligations, Standard Work Procedures and Risk Assessments.
* Ensure timely evaluation and scoping of preventative and reactive works
* Manage and review events and ensure that escalation protocols are complied with.
* Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of processes
* Participate in client review meetings
* Other tasks as required
